Deepika Padukone, who is expecting her second child with husband Ranveer Singh, arrived looking elegant in a traditional outfit at the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. She was accompanied by Singh and his family. But it was the mom-to-be’s stunning outfit choice that stole the show.
For the outing, she opted for a vibrant patola kurta set by designer Mayyur Girotra. The marigold-coloured expanse of her kurta was enlivened with traditional red, ivory and pink details. The striking purple trousers, meanwhile, infused the look with a pop of colour.
Take a look:
Antique zari embroidery added a regal touch to the look, while the gold tissue dupatta with applique work beautifully completed the ensemble.
The look was a classic Deepika Padukone look - complete with a gajra in the hair, subtle smokey eye makeup, nude lips and a tiny bindi. Oh, and add a statement pair of jhumkis to the styling mix too.
Making a coordinated statement of sorts, Ranveer Singh opted for a purple-coloured kurta for the special outing.
Deepika and Ranveer’s Siddhivinayak visit comes days after they shared endearing pictures from their latest pregnancy shoot. The photos marked their daughter Dua’s second birthday. She was born in September 2024. The pictures featured Deepika flaunting her baby bump in a lace co-ord set, making a bold and risque maternity fashion statement.
Stunning, right?
