The makers of Eetha on Monday unveiled the teaser of the film, starring Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role. The actor will be seen portraying legendary tamasha and lavani artiste Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar.

The teaser offers a glimpse into one of the most remarkable chapters of Vithabai's life. It shows Shraddha's character heavily pregnant and preparing to perform on stage despite being on the verge of childbirth.

In the teaser, Shraddha is seen backstage in costume with a nine-month baby bump as she gets ready for a performance. Moments later, she appears to give birth behind the stage before returning to continue the show.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Eetha is based on the life of Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar, one of the most celebrated names in Marathi folk theatre.

Shraddha was last seen in Stree 2 (2024). Apart from her, Eetha also stars Randeep Hooda, Nana Patekar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Siddharth Jadhav in key roles.

The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on August 28, 2026.
