Actor Sarath Kumar bumps into Rajinikanth at airport, calls it 'cherished moment'

Actor-politician Sarath Kumar had a pleasant surprise when he bumped into actor Rajinikanth at the airport in Chennai. The actor shared a glimpse of their chance encounter on X, recalling their conversation about their respective work schedules and the moments they shared with fans.

Sharing a picture from the meeting, Sarath Kumar wrote on X, “A pleasant surprise meeting Rajinikanth sir in the flight from Bangalore to Chennai and exchanging our work schedules at mysore and on arrival Chennai taking pictures with fans and admirers, the people who are the reasons for who we are today and what we are today, this sure was an enjoyable cherished moment that we shared.”

Sarath Kumar was last seen in Daadi Ki Shaadi. He has two films in the pipeline. He will collaborate with Kingston fame director Kamal Prakash on a new film and will also work with Padayappa producer PL Thenappan on another project.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is gearing up for the release of Nelson’s Jailer 2, which is scheduled to hit theatres on October 15. The film will see him reprise his role as Muthuvel Pandian from Jailer (2023). He is presently shooting for his upcoming film, Dharman, helmed by Oh My Kadavule and Dragon fame Ashwath Marimuthu. Apart from this, he also has a film with actor Kamal Haasan, which will be helmed by Nelson.
