Posting a series of photographs from the interaction on social media, she said she felt a sense of peace and calm in his presence and realised as she walked away that tears were rolling down her face.

The actor said the meeting was a memory she would cherish forever. The photographs showed Bhumi bowing before the spiritual leader and appearing visibly emotional during the interaction, while other images offered glimpses of her time at the monastery and the serene surroundings. In her caption, the Daldal actor described the encounter as “surreal” and said she felt truly blessed to have lived the moment.

Sharing the post, Bhumi wrote, “In the presence of His Holiness The Dalai Lama, everything felt lighter, calmer & surreal. The moment I walked away, I realised tears were flowing down my face. It’s a feeling I can’t fully explain, only deeply feel. I’ve been on an inward journey and these moments of magic fill my heart with gratitude for the life we have been given. Truly blessed to have experienced a moment of such peace, grace & compassion. A memory I’ll carry with me forever (sic).”

The first few pictures from the meeting captured Bhumi bowing before the Dalai Lama and appearing emotional during the exchange. The remaining photographs showed parts of the monastery and the quiet surroundings where the interaction took place.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Bhumi was last seen in Daldal. She is reportedly in discussions for a courtroom drama backed by the makers of Haq, which starred Yami Gautam in the lead. The actor is also set to share screen space with Imran Khan in his comeback project for Netflix. The film is currently under wraps and is said to have been in development for quite some time.
