On Monday, the superstar visited Kolkata’s Eden Gardens to support his team during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 match against the Punjab Kings (PBKS). He was accompanied by his daughter, Suhana Khan. However, the match was called off due to a wet outfield.

Following the event, the official Instagram and X accounts of Kolkata Knight Riders shared the video with the caption, “When the KING met the PRINCE OF BENGAL (sic).”

In the video, Shah Rukh is seen engaging with the ex-Indian cricket team captain before the two share a warm hug. Harshit Rana, sidelined from the tournament due to injury, was also present, along with the actor’s manager, Pooja Dadlani.

On the work front, Shah Rukh is set to appear next in the film King, directed by Siddharth Anand. Reports suggest that Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukerji are also part of the ensemble. The action movie is scheduled to release in theatres on December 24.
