Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and director Anees Bazmee are set to reunite for an untitled family comedy that is set to release in cinemas on December 4, 2026. The film is backed by Sri Venkateswara Creations, with producer Dil Raju bringing the team together for the project.

The film also marks another on-screen reunion for Kumar and Balan. The project recently wrapped a major shooting schedule in Kerala and the makers are expected to unveil a new still featuring Kumar in the coming days.

The upcoming comedy brings back Kumar and Bazmee, a pair known for working together on commercial entertainers. The new film will feature an ensemble cast led by Kumar and Balan, with Raashii Khanna in a pivotal role alongside Vijay Raaz and Sudesh Lehri.

The untitled film is produced by Shirish Reddy and Kuldeep Rathore in association with Cape of Good Films. It also marks the 60th production venture of Sri Venkateswara Creations.

With production progressing as scheduled, the film is lined up for a December 2026 release. The project brings together Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Anees Bazmee once again for a family entertainer, with its theatrical release locked for December 4, 2026.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar was last seen in Bhooth Bangla, which worked well at the box office. Vidya Balan played a key role in Riteish Dekhmukh's Raja Shivaji, which is currently running in theatres.
