The film's strong debut was further boosted by overseas earnings, taking its worldwide gross collection to Rs 11 crore on Day 1. Released across 9,081 shows, the film comfortably outperformed fellow Friday release Bandar and also held its ground amid competition from Ram Charan's Peddi in the Hindi market.

According to Sacnilk, the film earned an estimated Rs 7.50 crore net in India on Friday. Its India gross collection stood at Rs 9 crore, while overseas markets contributed another Rs 2 crore.

The combined figures pushed the film's worldwide gross collection to Rs 11 crore, making it the highest-grossing new release of the week on its opening day.

How was the audience response?

The romantic comedy recorded an overall occupancy of 20.15 per cent on Day 1. While morning shows opened modestly with 9 per cent occupancy, footfalls picked up as the day progressed.

Afternoon shows registered 19.23 per cent occupancy, while evening and night shows climbed to 21.92 per cent and 30.46 per cent respectively. Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Chennai emerged as key markets driving collections.
