Music composer and singer AR Rahman performed at the Attari Border on June 7 as part of a special tribute honouring personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF). Titled Jai Ho - A Tribute to the Bravehearts, the event took place during the Parade Ceremony at JCP Stadium and was organised by the team behind the upcoming film Main Vaapas Aaunga.
The event also marked Rahman's first live performance at the Attari Border. Members of the film's team, including filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, actor Vedang Raina and producer Mohit Choudhary, attended the programme and addressed the audience.
During the event, the makers dedicated the film's upcoming music album to members of the Indian armed forces and acknowledged the service of BSF personnel.
Rahman opened the musical set with Chanda Suraj Lakhon Taare before presenting songs from Main Vaapas Aaunga.
The programme included performances of Maskara by Nilanjana Ghosh and Vedang Raina, and Ishq Mastana by Mohit Chauhan along with Pooja Tiwari and Nargis.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Main Vaapas Aaunga stars Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharvari and Vedang Raina in key roles. The music has been composed by AR Rahman, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil.
Produced by Window Seat Films, the film is scheduled to release in cinemas on June 12, 2026.
