Dhanush was in Coimbatore recently to promote his upcoming film, Kara. A moment from the film’s pre-release event has surfaced online, with a viral video showing a female fan kneeling before the actor. The clip shows a woman approaching him and bowing down in admiration.

Dhanush quickly intervened, asking her to get up before posing for a picture with her, handling the situation with calm and composure.

The actor’s visit to Coimbatore drew an overwhelming response, with fans lining up from the airport to the venue to catch a glimpse of him.

Dhanush recalls Polladhavan memories

In another viral moment, the Tere Ishk Mein actor was seen being presented with a bike number plate referencing his film Polladhavan. Holding it up, the actor smiled as he reflected on the film’s significance in his career, calling it a turning point.

Addressing the audience, Dhanush also shared an inspiring message, urging young fans to believe in themselves and stay focused on their goals. Drawing from a line in the Bhagavad Gita, he spoke about the power of manifestation and self-belief, recalling how he had once visualised winning a National Award long before it became a reality.

All about Kara

Written by Alfred Prakash and Vignesh Raja, explores themes of survival and moral conflict. The film also features Jayaram, KS Ravikumar, Karunaas, Sreeja Ravi, Prithvi Pandiarajan and MS Bhaskar in key roles.

The music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, marking another collaboration with Dhanush after Idli Kadai (2025). Dhanush has also contributed as a lyricist, along with Yuga Bharathi, Uma Devi, Arunraja Kamaraj, Karthik Netha, and Arivu.

Kara is produced by Ishari K Ganesh under Vels Film International, with Kushmita Ganesh serving as co-producer.
