Internet not impressed with Toxic's Tabaahi song, calls Yash-Kiara's romance flat

The romantic song, Tabaahi from Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, featuring actors Yash and Kiara Advani was released on July 8. While fans praised the visuals of the song, a section of social media users remained sceptical over the actors' chemistry in the track.
While reacting to Tabaahi, an X user wrote, "Thanks Yash. Now I'm 100% sure this movie will break barriers I'm proud we got you in our industry (sic)." Another comment read, "So much relief for this kind of COOL BEACHES BACKGROUND POSTER.. is in #TOXIC (sic)."
A user, expressing disappointment, wrote, "Every content of these movie is related to bold scenes Is nothing there (sic)." Another comment read, "Seriously? I think yash had good chemistry with Srinidhi. But this felt so flat (sic)."
A user, while critiquing Tabaahi commented, "it was flat both have 0 chemistry yash is more concerned about looking stoic and kiara not crossing line. Song has no personality, looks similar to many music videos if vanga wud have directed this and shows how its done (sic)."
The music video begins with a Rumi quote that reads, "Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, There is a field. I'll meet you there." Tabaahi highlights the intense romance between Yash and Kiara's characters. It also features glimpses of actors Nayanthara and Tara Sutaria.
Tabaahi has been composed and sung by Vishal Mishra, with the Hindi lyrics written by Raj Shekhar. The song has been released in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The versions in other languages have been adapted by Yogaraj Bhat for Kannada, Ramajogayya Sastry for Telugu, Vignesh Shivan for Tamil and Rafeeq Ahammed for Malayalam.
Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, and directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film has been shot in Kannada and English, and will also be released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and other languages.
Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is set for a theatrical release on August 26.
