The makers of Singham Again shared the first trailer of the film on social media on Monday, October 7. Launched at a grand event in Mumbai's NMACC (Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre) amid a huge crowd of fans and journalists, it created a stir on social media with fans hailing the presence of so many Bollywood stars in one film.

Rohit Shetty, who's the director of the film, presented a close to five-minute trailer, giving glimpses of all his major characters in the film, right from Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan to Deepika Padukone and Akshay Kumar. The trailer also revealed the entire story, based on the Hindu epic Ramayana, where Kareena's Avni, imagined as Sita, gets kidnapped by Arjun Kapoor's Ravana, and Bajirao Singham acts as Lord Ram to get his Sita back with the help of his entire tribe, Ranveer Singh as Lord Hanuman and Akshay Kumar as Jattayu.

The fans seemed especially excited about the story, which found its ground in Ramayana. One user on X appreciated Shetty for providing a mass trailer, and wrote, "Still can't get over how epic the #SinghamAgainTrailer is! #RohitShetty has given us the FATHER OF ALL MASS MOVIES! This one's going to be a blockbuster (sci)."

Another social media user used the trailer as a warning against those preferring to watch Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 over Singham Again this Diwali. The user wrote, "Wow THE TRAILER IS AMAZING. Hats of to Rohit shetty for using Ramayan concept. BB3 bhag jao abhi bhi mauka hai (sic)."

The trailer also featured massive entry scenes of Tiger Shroff and Deepika Padukone joining Shetty's cop-universe as new heroes. While Deepika is playing the role of Shakti Shetty, the Lady Singham, Tiger is to Ajay's Singham what Laxman was to Lord Ram in Ramayana.

The trailer is full of funny one-liners and dramatic dialogue. However, the action never takes a backseat. The actors seem to be performing action everywhere - in the air, on the ground, on water and in mountains.

The film is slated to hit the screens as the big Diwali release this year. It will be facing a box office clash with Aneez Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on November 2. The latter features a stunning star-cast, including Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri and Rajpal Yadav, among others.
