Vishwambhara teaser: Chiranjeevi safeguards the world in the dystopian fantasy drama

The teaser of Chiranjeevi's upcoming film Vishwambhara was released on the occasion on Dussehra 2024. The film is a fantasy drama, directed by Vasshista.

The teaser of Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara was released on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra 2024. Also starring Trisha Krishnan and Ashika Ranganath, it is helmed by Vasshista and will hit the theatres next year.

The clip opens with a mystical landscape, where fish-shaped birds soar through the sky and rhinoceroses roar. Megastar Chiranjeevi makes a grand superhero-like entrance, riding a flying horse, just as a young girl enquires about the impending war.

The teaser highlights stunning action sequences, climaxing with Chiranjeevi wielding a mace against his enemies, framed by a statue of Lord Hanuman, symbolising divine strength. Chiranjeevi’s powerful action with the mace and the Hanuman statue provide a striking finale to the teaser.

Vishwambhara marks Chiranjeevi's 156th film. It was originally set to release on January 10, 2025. However, on October 12, the makers of his son Ram Charan's upcoming film Game Changer announced that its release, initially scheduled for Christmas 2024, has been postponed to Sankranthi. As a result, Vishwambhara's release date has been pushed forward. More details will be shared soon.

Vishwambhara is touted to be one of the costliest projects of Chiranjeevi. It is being co-produced by Vikram, Vamsi, and Pramod. The production of the movie went on floors in November 2023.
