Actor Chiranjeevi is set to return to the small screen with a new talk show, MEGAVerse, which is scheduled to begin shooting on October 27. According to a report by Gulte, the show is being made for Netflix, with actors Brahmanandam, Sunil and Satya expected to feature in the first episode.

This will not be Chiranjeevi’s first television hosting assignment. The actor previously hosted Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, the Telugu adaptation of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The fourth season, hosted by Chiranjeevi, premiered in December 2016. With MEGAVerse, he is set to explore the talk-show format for an OTT audience.

The development comes as senior Telugu cinema actors increasingly explore talk shows. Nandamuri Balakrishna with Unstoppable and Jagapathi Babu with Jayammu Nischayammu Raa with Jagapathi have also ventured into the format, hosting conversations with actors and other personalities. Details about MEGAVerse, including its release date and the complete guest list, are yet to be announced.

Chiranjeevi’s last theatrical release was Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, which hit screens on January 12, 2026. He has several projects in the pipeline, including Kaaka, an action drama directed by Bobby Kolli. The film follows a working-class man whose life becomes entangled with the aquaculture business and also explores a father-daughter relationship. Anaswara Rajan and Nivetha Pethuraj are part of the cast. The film is reportedly scheduled for release on January 13, 2027.

The actor is also headlining Vishwambhara, a socio-fantasy action-adventure film directed by Vassishta. His proposed collaboration with director Srikanth Odela, which was expected to go on floors this year, has reportedly been postponed.
