Hanuman Ansh has crossed the Rs 400 crore mark worldwide, and the film’s Telugu release is finally out of limbo. The Vishal Chaturvedi-directed devotional drama will now arrive in Telugu theatres on October 9, Hombale Films announced on social media. The Telugu version was earlier scheduled to release on September 18.

Sharing the new release date, Hombale Films wrote, “We are delighted to bring the much loved #HanumanAnsh in TELUGU, for audiences to witness its divine brilliance on the big screen across the world. #HanumanAnshTelugu Worldwide Release on OCTOBER 9th by @hombalefilms.”

The announcement comes after uncertainty over the film’s Telugu rollout. Trivikram Srinivas was earlier expected to present the Telugu version under his Fortune Four Cinemas banner. However, he later disassociated himself from the release after the deal with the Hanuman Ansh team fell through, according to a source close to the filmmaker.

A Telugu teaser launch event, which was scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on September 15, was also cancelled at the last minute. The source had confirmed that Trivikram would no longer be associated with the Telugu release.

With Hombale Films now taking charge of the Telugu release, the film has a new theatrical date after its earlier September 18 schedule was pushed.

Hanuman Ansh crosses Rs 400 crore worldwide

Hanuman Ansh has turned out to be a major box-office success despite being made on a reported budget of around Rs 1.8 crore. The film crossed Rs 300 crore nett in India on September 28, its 52nd day, and has now gone past Rs 400 crore worldwide.

The film’s strong theatrical run has also added interest to its Telugu release, which will now reach audiences nearly three weeks after its originally planned date.

What is Hanuman Ansh about?
