After complainant flags 'no genuine remorse', Ranveer Singh to file fresh apology in Karnataka High Court

by · India Today

Ranveer Singh has agreed to file a revised apology affidavit before the Karnataka High Court after consulting the complainant, who raised concerns over the tone of his earlier submission. The development comes after objections were made stating that the initial affidavit did not reflect genuine remorse.

During the hearing, Singh’s counsel informed the court that a fresh affidavit would be filed, addressing the concerns raised. The complainant had specifically objected to the previously submitted apology, arguing that it lacked sincerity.

The court was apprised that the actor is now willing to reconsider and revise the contents of his apology in consultation with the complainant, in an effort to resolve the matter.

Further proceedings in the case are expected to take place after the revised affidavit is submitted.

This is a developing story. It will be updated.
