A new video of Jr NTR seemingly scolding his security personnel for their rude behaviour towards fans during his birthday celebrations has gone viral. The incident took place outside the actor’s residence in Hyderabad, where hundreds of fans had gathered late at night to celebrate his 43rd birthday on May 20.

The video emerged as birthday celebrations around the actor also coincided with the release of the first glimpse of his upcoming Telugu film Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel. The film, previously referred to as NTR-Neel, had its official title revealed at midnight on May 19.

Birthday celebrations in Hyderabad

The atmosphere outside Jr NTR’s residence turned festive as fans assembled in large numbers and cheered for the actor. He later stepped out to greet them and waved warmly from behind a steel barricade while surrounded by his security team.

Jr NTR was seen in a black T-shirt and blue jeans as he interacted with fans during the midnight celebrations.

In the viral clip, Jr NTR appears visibly upset as he seemingly pulls up one of his security personnel for allegedly misbehaving with fans during the gathering. At one point, when a few fans tried to move closer to the actor, members of his security team intervened to stop them.

This did not appear to go down well with Jr NTR, who was heard expressing his displeasure. In the video, the actor can be heard saying, “All this chaos happened because of you.”

Dragon first glimpse released

The makers unveiled the first look of Jr NTR’s upcoming film Dragon at midnight on Tuesday, May 19. Directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, the project had earlier been referred to as NTR-Neel before the title was announced officially.

The first glimpse presents Jr NTR in a rugged, action-heavy role. He plays a ruthless killer in a violent world where powerful men battle for dominance over the opium trade.

The Telugu film also stars Biju Menon, Rukmini Vasanth, Khushbu Sundar and Guru Somasundaram. With the title now revealed and the first glimpse out, Dragon is set for a global theatrical release on June 11, 2027.
