Actor Alia Bhatt cheered for filmmaker Imtiaz Ali's latest release Main Vaapas Aaunga after the film showed growth at the box office in its second weekend. On Tuesday, Alia reacted to a post by her Alpha co-star Sharvari, who also features in the film, and wrote on her Instagram Stories, "The magic of the movies (sic)."
Sharvari's post highlighted that Main Vaapas Aaunga had registered 130 per cent growth on the second Saturday and that new shows had been added in week two. The post came as the film continued its turnaround at the box office after a modest start, with audience response and word of mouth helping it gather momentum.
What Sharvari said in her post
In her caption, Sharvari wrote, "I don't know if there's a greater feeling than seeing something you poured your heart into find a place in other people's hearts. The messages, the videos, the tears, the conversations, the love... I've been reading and watching all of it, often with tears in my own eyes. Every actor dreams of being a part of a story that stays with people long after they leave the theatre (sic)."
