All We Imagine As Light, a Grand Prix winner at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, will make its limited screen debut in Kerala on Saturday, September 21. Spirit Media has secured exclusive distribution rights for this Indo-French co-production.

All We Imagine As Light, directed by Payal Kapadia and winner of the Grand Prix at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, is set to make its limited screen debut in Kerala this Saturday, September 21.

The production house Spirit Media, founded by actor and producer Rana Daggubati, has secured the exclusive rights to distribute the Malayalam-Hindi film across India.

Titled Prabhayay Ninachathellam in Malayalam, the film will later expand to major cities across the country, following its initial Kerala release. The movie is an official Indo-French co-production between Chalk and Cheese Films from India and petit chaos from France. Indian producers Zico Maitra (Chalk and Cheese Films) and Ranabir Das (Another Birth) played a crucial role in the film's creation, with Das also serving as the cinematographer.

The release of All We Imagine As Light has garnered significant attention in the Indian film industry due to its international acclaim and strong performances by its lead actors. Spirit Media's involvement marks another notable step in bridging global cinema with Indian audiences, providing a platform for unique voices and stories.

The film features a compelling cast including Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, and Chhaya Kadam. All We Imagine As Light tells the story of Prabha (Kusruti), a nurse in Mumbai whose life spirals into chaos after receiving a rice cooker from her estranged husband. Divya Prabha plays Anu, Prabha's roommate and colleague, who is navigating her own struggles as she searches for privacy to spend time with her boyfriend in the crowded city. Chhaya Kadam portrays Parvati, Prabha’s best friend and a widow, who is being forced out of her home by relentless property developers.
