Actors Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan's upcoming film Haiwaan finally has a release date. The edge-of-the-seat thriller, directed by Priyadarshan, is set to arrive in cinemas on September 11, 2026. The announcement was made by KVN Productions through an Instagram post, giving fans their first official update on the film's theatrical release.

Sharing a striking poster, the production house wrote, "In Cinemas 11th September 2026. 60 Blockbusters. One master storyteller, film by Priyadarshan, Haiwaan." The film marks Akshay and Saif's much-awaited reunion on the big screen, with expectations running high for the thriller.

Who else stars in Haiwaan?

Apart from Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, Haiwaan also features Shriya Pilgaonkar and Saiyami Kher in pivotal roles. The film is backed by KVN Productions and Thespian Films, with Venkat K Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn serving as producers. It is slated for a theatrical release across cinemas on September 11.

Why is Priyadarshan's collaboration with Akshay significant?

Haiwaan marks another collaboration between Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar following the success of Bhoot Bangla. The horror comedy, which also starred Paresh Rawal, Jisshu Sengupta, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi and Asrani, became one of the biggest Hindi releases of the year. It emerged as the fifth highest-grossing Indian film of 2026 and the third highest-grossing Hindi film of the year.
