The much-anticipated trailer for Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, has made history by becoming the most-viewed Telugu trailer on YouTube within 24 hours of release. The Telugu trailer, which dropped on November 17, 2024, garnered over 43 million views in the first 19 hours, surpassing the previous record set by Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram. Fans lauded the thrilling visuals, intense action sequences, and Allu Arjun's compelling portrayal of Pushpa Raj.

Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram trailer generated 37.70 million views in the first 24 hours. According to trade website Sacnilk, the Telugu trailer of Pushpa 2: The Rule surpassed this in just 15 hours and currently has 43+ million views on YouTube. The Hindi trailer has also been well received, having generated 35+ million views in the first 19 hours. It looks like people in the Hindi belt are eagerly looking forward to the film.

The trailer launch event was organised in Patna, Bihar on a grand scale, where the event witnessed a massive gathering of crowd. The entire team of the film had flown to Patna for the event, which is being called the biggest trailer launch event in the history of Indian cinema.

Directed by Sukumar, the sequel picks up where the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise left off, exploring the rise of Pushpa Raj in the face of powerful adversaries. Rashmika Mandanna reprises her role as Srivalli, while Fahadh Faasil will be seen as the enigmatic Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. Adding to the excitement, Sreeleela has joined the cast for a special number, while Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sunil and several others return in pivotal roles.
