The makers of Governor: The Silent Saviour have released new character posters for the film, featuring Manoj Bajpayee and Adah Sharma. The film is set to be released on June 12, 2026.
The posters were unveiled after the film’s title was announced on Manoj Bajpayee’s birthday along with an earlier poster.
The latest set of posters offers a first look at the cast and places Manoj Bajpayee’s character at the centre of the film’s narrative. One of the lines used in the promotional material reads, “This was a war. There were no armies. Just one man who refused to let a nation fall.”
The posters also carry the taglines, “Ab Bari Meri Hai”, “I Will Not Let India Fail”, and “India Is On The Verge Of Bankruptcy, He Saw It Coming.” The material points to a story set against a period of economic distress in India.
Governor: The Silent Saviour is a Vipul Amrutlal Shah production and is presented by Sunshine Pictures. The film is produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and directed by Chinmay Mandlekar. It is co-produced by Aashin A. Shah and written by Suvendu Bhattacharyjee, Saurabh Bharat, Ravi Asrani, and Vipul Amrutlal Shah.
The film’s music has been composed by Amit Trivedi, with lyrics by Javed Akhtar. With the new posters now out, the makers have further introduced the film’s cast and its central conflict ahead of its release.
