The performance also came as speculation around Swift and Kelce’s wedding has continued in recent weeks.Reports have claimed that the couple are preparing to marry in New York City, with suggestions that an intimate ceremony could be followed by a larger reception at Madison Square Garden, although no official details have been announced. Swift and Kelce announced their engagement on social media in August 2025.

The speculation gained fresh attention after New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani appeared to refer to Swift’s wedding during a media briefing on June 15. He was speaking about the city’s security preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026.

According to Page Six, Mamdani said, ‘We are the biggest city in the country. We are used to big events, and we are incredibly excited for this one. We know it coincides with the Knicks’ Finals run. We know it coincides with July 4, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding, all happening at the same time, and we are so excited to welcome the world here.’ His remarks led to further speculation that the wedding could take place during the July 3 to 5 holiday weekend in New York.

When reporters asked whether he had received an invitation, Mamdani replied, ‘No and no. I wish them a lovely wedding. I’ll listen to Only the Young at home on my own.’

Earlier reports from Page Six and TMZ had also linked Madison Square Garden to the wedding, but neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly confirmed a date or venue.

Taylor and Travis have been together for roughly three years.
