While celebrities from around the world certainly caused a stir with their experimental looks on the Met Gala red carpet on May 4, fashion's biggest night also saw the attendance of several tech bigwigs, including Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri.

While Mosseri did not opt for a dramatic ensemble like many other attendees, he still made a statement with his outfit by choosing to wear an Indian label.

He kept his look polished yet playful in a black embroidered suit by Kartik Research. The double-breasted ensemble featured delicate floral motifs scattered across the jacket and trousers, adding texture and a subtle artistic flair to the otherwise classic silhouette.

Mosseri paired the suit with a beige embroidered shirt layered underneath. Round tinted glasses and black shoes completed the look, giving it a relaxed, understated charm while still embracing the evening's fashion-forward spirit.

Sharing his look on Instagram and praising the brand, Mosseri penned, "Last night's MET Gala put the creative process on equal footing with the final look. I was so excited to wear @kartikresearch, a young Delhi-based designer whose artisans hand embroidered this beautiful look."

Accompanying him on the red carpet was his wife, Monica Mosseri, who wore a powder blue corset top and a matching skirt for the gala.

For those unaware, Kartik Research is an artisanal design house based in New Delhi, founded by Kartik Kumra in 2021. Known for its handcrafted approach, the brand blends traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern design, drawing inspiration from the country's rich culture, art, and heritage. The brand also has a strong presence in New York.

Earlier this year, the label made headlines after New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani wore one of its ties for his swearing-in ceremony. The tie was made from handwoven, lightly textured eri silk.

Meanwhile, other Indian designers and artists who made a strong impression on the Met Gala red carpet this year included Manish Malhotra, Gaurav Gupta, Mayyur Girotra, and Subodh Gupta.
