An Indian YouTuber is earning praise on the internet for his gracious response to a Chinese woman who slammed Indian food and called it "dirty". A video of their conversation has gone viral on social media.

In a lighthearted yet respectful conversation, the YouTuber, known as Passenger Paramvir on social media, shared his perspective on Indian street food hygiene after the woman expressed concerns about its cleanliness based on some shocking video clips that are viral on TikTok in China.

The conversation began when the woman showed Paramvir videos she’d found online, including one where a vendor uses his armpits to shape dough balls and another where a cook casually washes his hands over a cooking pan.

Paramvir chuckled but quickly reassured her, saying, “Trust me, you won’t see any of this on the streets. I don’t know where they [users] find these videos. Trust me, I have never seen this happening anywhere in India from my own eyes. If you go to a good hygienic place, you will love the food.”

Intent on showcasing the real flavours of Indian food, Paramvir took her to a local restaurant where they shared a meal of dal makhani, shahi paneer, and naan. As they enjoyed the dishes, the woman’s initial skepticism melted away, and she even praised the food with a simple “Yummy.”

The now-viral clip was originally taken from a 44-minute vlog titled “Exposing the SECRETS of Great Wall of China” shared by Paramvir on YouTube in which he documented his experience of visiting the Great Wall of China.
