Telugu actor Allu Arjun’s legal troubles have brought attention to the timing of the release of the Pushpa 2 song, Dammunte Pattukora Shekhawat. Released by T-Series on Tuesday, the song has sparked widespread online reactions for its bold lyrics and provocative timing.
The song, composed by Devi Sri Prasad and sung by Allu Arjun, features lyrics written by director Sukumar.
In the film, the song features a confrontation between Pushpa (Allu Arjun) and police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil). The lines, including “Dammunte pattukora Shekhawat” (If you've got the guts, catch me, Shekhawat!) and “Pattukonte vodilestha syndicate” (If you catch me, I’ll abandon the syndicate), highlight Pushpa’s defiance, as he declares that he would return to the forest and live as a coolie if caught. These lyrics have captivated fans while also sparking controversy.
