  • The team said over 100 shooting days have already been completed

The makers of Nani's The Paradise have dismissed rumours that the film is undergoing reshoots and could face another delay, and said the project is on track for its August 21 theatrical release. The film was initially slated to hit theatres on March 26, when it was set to clash with Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar 2 and Yash-headlined Toxic, before the makers announced in February that it had been postponed.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the team has now said the film had been planned with "absolute clarity" from the start and was progressing as intended. They said more than 100 shooting days had already been completed successfully and added that the remaining schedule was moving ahead as planned, without delays.

Team dismisses reshoot rumours

The Paradise team said, "Over the past few days, we've noticed several baseless rumours and irresponsible speculations being circulated about #TheParadise. For clarity: #TheParadise was planned with absolute clarity from day one, and the film is progressing exactly as intended (sic)."

They added that over 100 shooting days have already been completed successfully, and the remaining schedule was happening as planned, without delays.

They said every stage of the film's execution was aligned with their original vision and stressed that no reshoots had taken place so far, nor were any planned.

The statement added, "There has not been a single reshoot till date. There will be no reshoots planned for #TheParadise in future as well. Every stage of this film is being executed with the scale, precision, and conviction it was envisioned with (sic)."

The team urged the public to rely only on official updates and said any false information being circulated about the film would be addressed directly by them.

The statement concluded, "We request everyone to rely only on updates issued through our official channels. Going forward, any false information being circulated regarding the film will be addressed directly by us (sic)."

The makers also reiterated that the film is slated to release in theatres on August 21, as announced earlier.
