Nushrratt Bharuccha to be airlifted to Mumbai after spinal fracture in Bali

Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha suffered a spinal fracture in an accident during a work-cum-holiday trip in Bali. Her team is arranging an air ambulance to Mumbai for surgery and has sought privacy during her recovery.

Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha will be airlifted to Mumbai after suffering a spinal fracture in an accident in Bali, where she was on a work-cum-holiday trip. The actor is currently hospitalised in Bali and will undergo spine surgery after returning to Mumbai, her team said in an official statement.

Nushrratt will undergo spine surgery following further evaluation by doctors. Her team is also making arrangements to bring her back to Mumbai via an air ambulance, where she will undergo the procedure.

“Nushrratt Bharuccha, who was in Bali for a work-cum-holiday trip, met with an unfortunate accident and suffered a fracture in her spine. She is currently hospitalised in Bali and remains under medical observation. Following further evaluation by the doctors, Nushrratt will be undergoing spine surgery," the statement read.

The statement added that the actor’s health and medical care remain the immediate priority. Her team is working on arrangements for her return to Mumbai for further treatment.

Given the nature of the injury and the surgery, Nushrratt is expected to take time off to rest and recover. Her work commitments over the next few weeks are also likely to be affected.

Her team has requested privacy for the actor during this period and thanked everyone for their concern and good wishes.

“We request everyone to respect her privacy at this time and allow her the space to focus on her treatment and recovery. We are grateful for everyone’s concern and good wishes and will share further updates as and when appropriate,” the statement said.

Further details about Nushrratt’s condition and treatment will be shared by her team when appropriate.
