Priyanka Chopra gave fans a look at her "mama" and "mamacita" sides in a new Instagram video shared on Monday. The post brought together two different moments and added to the run of family updates that the actor and her singer-husband Nick Jonas have been sharing on social media.

One part of the clip was quiet and personal. The other showed the 44-year-old in a playful mood with friends. Together, the video offered a glimpse of both home and downtime.

In one section of the video, Priyanka was seen teaching her daughter Malti the Sarva Mangala Mangalaye mantra, dedicated to Goddess Durga. The moment highlighted her "mama" side and showed a mother-daughter exchange.

In another section, Priyanka was seen dancing with her friends. That part showed what she called her "mamacita" side.

Recent family posts

The new video comes amid a series of family posts from Priyanka and Nick. On August 1, Nick shared a family post on Instagram and wrote, "July was one for the books." The carousel featured Priyanka and their daughter, Malti Marie, and showed moments from the past month.

The post included solo pictures, a family moment and a glimpse of Malti by the sea. The first photo was a mirror selfie of Nick in a western-inspired outfit with a black cowboy hat, an embroidered dark green shirt, blue jeans and a large belt buckle.

The second image showed a small pink toy camera with a mirrored photo of Priyanka on its screen. Another picture showed Malti looking out at the sea from a terrace, with hills and a clear blue sky in the distance.

One more image captured a family moment during an outdoor meal, with Priyanka leaning towards Nick as they sat at a dining table with food and drinks. Nick also shared a photo of himself playing foosball in a recreation room while wearing a sleeveless white T-shirt.

Priyanka also recently shared an Instagram Story showing Malti watching her song Tune Maari Entriyaan from Gunday, released in 2014. She wrote, "Who would’ve thought?" and tagged Nick and Malti’s Instagram profile.

In another story, she posted a photo of her mother, Madhu Chopra, spending time with Malti at the hotel where they are staying. The picture showed Madhu holding Malti’s hands.

Hyderabad visit and film work

Priyanka recently resumed shooting for SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi, which also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. She and Nick later joined Mahesh Babu for a movie night at AMB Cinemas.

The film is slated to release in theatres on April 7, 20.
