The title track of Welcome To The Jungle was released on Monday, bringing back the tone of the Welcome franchise from its opening moments. The song opens with a dialogue from the original film, "Aalu lelo...kaande lelo (Get potatoes... get onions)", before cutting to the shocked expression of a chimpanzee and then introducing the film's large ensemble cast.

Built around the familiarity of the earlier films, the song presents the new cast line-up while keeping the focus on the comic energy and ensemble format that have remained central to the franchise.

The track features Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, Tusshar Kapoor, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda. It features vocals by Shaan, Priya Patidar and Vikram Montrose. The lyrics are by Meggha Bali, while the music has been re-created and produced by Vikram Montrose. The original composition is by Sajid-Wajid.

The makers have described the track as a blend of nostalgic energy and new-age beats. That tone is reflected in the way the song uses a familiar line from the original film and pairs it with a fresh visual presentation.

Director Ahmed Khan said, “We wanted every song in Welcome To The Jungle to feel cinematic, entertaining, and mounted on a massive scale. Music plays a huge role in building the world and energy of the film.”

Music director Vikram Montrose shared, “This soundtrack celebrates everything audiences love about big Bollywood entertainers. The idea was to create songs that feel energetic, stylish, theatrical, and instantly memorable.”

The film's teaser was unveiled on May 15 and suggested that the story centres on a fake film that goes wrong, with confusion, over-the-top humour and a comedy of errors driving the plot. The teaser opened with the disclaimer, "In the making of this film, no animals were used. Sivaay kuchh ghodon ke aur hum gadhon ke (Except for a few horses and some donkeys like us) (sic)."

Unlike the urban backdrop associated with the earlier films, Welcome To The Jungle shifts the action into a jungle setting. Staged gunshots and accidental killings pointed to survival-style situations and slapstick confusion that the film is set to explore.

Welcome To The Jungle is produced by Firoz A Nadiadwala under the banner of Base Industries Group and directed by Ahmed Khan. Akshay Kumar returns to the franchise after missing the second instalment. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 26.
