by India Today News Desk · India TodayThe BJP has released a satirical reel on social media taking a jab at Congress as “naaraaz phupha” (angry uncle) for allegedly opposing symbols of progress such as statues, Vande Bharat trains and other development initiatives,a day after PM Narendra Modi coined the term.
The 104-second video uses meme-style edits featuring a confident figure alongside visuals highlighting India’s achievements, including Vande Bharat trains, Jan Dhan financial inclusion, highways, solar energy projects and patriotic banners.
The video features a Hindi rhyme that says, “If a statue is built, they are upset; if Vande Bharat runs, they are upset; hearing about the country’s progress, they disappear one after another.”
