Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 box office Day 6: Kartik's 2nd film to enter Rs 150-crore club

Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is all set to enter the Rs 150-crore club at the domestic box office. Released on Diwali, the horror-comedy has become the actor's second highest-grossing film in India.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan, is performing well at the Indian box office. The horror-comedy, which is nearing Rs 150 crore in domestic collections, earned Rs 10.50 crore (early estimates) on its sixth day of release.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has now earned Rs 148.50 crore in the Indian market, as reported by industry tracking site Sacnilk. However, the horror-comedy earned its lowest earnings so far on Wednesday (Day 6) and had an overall occupancy of 25.82 per cent across states.

The film has surpassed Rs 200 crore in global box office earnings, reaching Rs 208 crore worldwide. This makes Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 the second highest-grossing films of Kartik Aaryan, with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 on top.

A section of India Today's review of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 reads, "Kartik returns as Rooh Baba, the ghostbuster, who gets busted himself more than the ghosts surrounding him. Watching the familiar faces of the mad hatter trio - Ashwini Kalsekar, Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra - is a delight. But, the writers don't manage to justify their talent, and offer them some badly-written jokes. Thankfully, the second half redeems itself and the gags and punches get better, slowly but steadily."

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also features Triptii Dimri and Rajpal Yadav, apart from Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit. It released on November 1.
