Navratri gets a Himesh Reshammiya twist with his first Garba song Jai Ambe Bol

This Navratri, singer Himesh Reshammiya is bringing a brand-new Garba anthem to the dance floor. The music composer is set to rule hearts with Jai Ambe Bol, the latest song from Sooraj R Barjatya’s upcoming film Yeh Prem Mol Liya. Released by Rajshri Productions ahead of the festive season, the vibrant track marks Himesh’s first-ever Garba composition in his music journey.

Featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari, Jai Ambe Bol captures the spirit of Navratri with colourful visuals, energetic choreography and the unmistakable excitement of a Garba celebration. Sung by Shreya Ghoshal and written by Mayur Puri, the track combines Himesh’s signature musical style with the festive rhythm of Garba.

The song arrives after the release of Yeh Prem Mol Liya’s title track, which introduced audiences to the film’s emotional world of love, family and celebrations. With the latest song, the makers have switched gears, bringing a more upbeat and celebratory flavour to the soundtrack just ahead of Navratri, which begins on October 11.

Soon after the song was released, fans were in awe of Himesh’s magical voice and called it the ‘biggest dance track of the season.’

One of the fans commented, “This is not just a song this is related too many people's emotions @realhimesh (sic),” while another wrote, “Himesh Reshammiya back with the biggest dance track of the season.” A third fan echoed similar sentiments and wrote, “This is what we were missing in Bollywood music nowadays.” Another wrote, “Lord Himesh is here to rule another Chartbuster Loading (sic).”

Interestingly, Jai Ambe Bol also marks the first Garba composition of Himesh Reshammiya’s illustrious career. With its energetic arrangements and festive beats, the song is designed to capture the mood of the season and become a natural addition to Navratri celebrations.

Shreya Ghoshal’s lively vocals add to the song’s festive charm, while Himesh’s composition gives it the rhythm needed to get listeners onto the Garba floor.

Rajshri Productions (P) Ltd., in association with Mahaveer Jain Films, presents Yeh Prem Mol Liya, directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya and starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari, with music by Himesh Reshammiya. The film is slated to release in cinemas on November 27, 2026.
