Radhika Pandit has shared glimpses of a beach holiday with Yash and their children, Ayra and Yatharv. The post comes as Yash keeps a low profile after Toxic completed its theatrical run.

For a change, Kannada star Yash's latest pictures have nothing to do with films, promotions or box-office numbers. The actor is taking some time away with wife Radhika Pandit and their children, Ayra and Yatharv, after the failed theatrical run of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. Radhika has now shared a few glimpses of their beach getaway, with the family seen cycling and spending time by the sea.

The destination remains a secret, but the pictures make it clear that this is a quiet family break. In one of them, Radhika cycles alongside Yatharv, while Yash and Ayra follow behind. Other photographs show Radhika by the beach, soaking up the slower pace. “Quiet enough to hear the waves. Loud enough to remember each moment (sic),” she wrote alongside the pictures.

Yash hasn't shared much from the holiday himself. That's hardly surprising. While Radhika occasionally lets fans into their family life, Yash generally keeps that part of his world away from social media.

A break after a demanding film run

The family getaway comes after Toxic completed its theatrical run. The Geetu Mohandas-directed film marked Yash's major release after the KGF films and arrived with considerable expectations, also featuring Nayanthara and Kiara Advani.

The film opened strongly, collecting around Rs 101 crore nett in India on its first day across versions. But the momentum didn't last, with collections dropping after the opening weekend amid mixed reviews and word of mouth.

Toxic eventually ended its India run at an estimated Rs 230 crore nett across versions, as reported by industry tracking site Sacnilk. The Hindi version reportedly contributed around Rs 137 crore, while its worldwide gross has been estimated at around Rs 340-366 crore. The film was also reportedly made on a budget of around Rs 500 to 1,000 crore.

Its later theatrical run coincided with competition from films including Hanuman Ansh and Mirzapur: The Movie.

Meanwhile, Yash and Radhika Pandit met on Nanda Gokula in 2004 and reunited on Moggina Manasu in 2008. They went on to star together in films including Drama and Mr & Mrs Ramachari, eventually taking their relationship off-screen.

They married in December 2016 and have two children, Ayra and Yatharv. The couple will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary later this year.
