Pushpa The Rise re-releases in theatres ahead of Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2

The Hindi version of the 2021 film, Pushpa, will re-release in theatres on November 22. The announcement generated curiosity amongst audiences, who were eager for a quick revision of the film before Pushpa 2 release.

While the Hindi re-release has been confirmed, the fate of Pushpa 1 in Telugu-speaking states remains uncertain, with no official word on a re-release. However, the movie’s popularity remains high, especially in the USA, where Pushpa: The Rise made a major impact after its re-release on November 19. Prathyangira Cinemas, which handled the film's US re-release, shared an update on social media, keeping the momentum for the upcoming sequel.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rise (2021) was a massive hit, showcasing the rise of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Raj in the red sandalwood smuggling world. Alongside Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil played pivotal roles. The film set up an intense rivalry between Pushpa and Faasil’s character, Inspector Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, with the clash expected to intensify in the sequel.
Meanwhile, the trailer for Pushpa 2 was released at a grand event in Patna on November 17.
