Anupamaa actor Rupali Ganguly, who has recently been embroile din a controversy after her step-daugter levelled some serious allegations, found support from producer Rajan Shahi. Shahi, on behalf of his entiore family, shared a post for Ganguly, praising her for her humility and her hard work.

Rajan Shahi shared a photo with Ganguly. In the caption, he wrote, "Rupali, you inspire all of us each day, every moment, at DKP/Shahi Productions for your hard work, dedication, talent, honesty, integrity, and humility. Anupamaa, you have created "history"—a benchmark and landmark very few can reach or create. Thu thu thu. Earlier, Rupali Ganguly's stepdaughter Esha Verma claimed that the actor is 'controlling and psychotic'. The controversy started when an old 2020 post from Esha resurfaced online and quickly went viral. In it, Esha accused Rupali of breaking up Ashwin K. Verma’s previous marriage, even alleging that Rupali had issued death threats to her and her mother.

Reacting to the same, the actor issued a defamation notice to Esha Verma, and asked for a compensation of Rs 50 crore for maligning her personal life. After that, Verma deleted the video where she allegedly defamed Rupali and her father, Ashwin K Verma. She also made her Instagram account private.
