Jubin Nautiyal has announced the birth of his first child, a baby boy, on Ganesh Chaturthi. The singer said mother and baby are home and the family is spending time with the newborn.

Singer Jubin Nautiyal and his wife have welcomed their first child, a baby boy. The singer shared the news with Bombay Times, revealing that their son was born on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on September 14.

“Yes, I am a father now. Our son was born on the very auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi on September 14. Mom and baby are back home and well,” Jubin said.

The singer also revealed that he and his wife have not decided on a name for their son yet. For now, they are enjoying their time with the newborn.

“We haven't thought of a name for our baby boy yet. We are just soaking in all the beautiful moments with him now,” he said.

Jubin also spoke about how difficult it will be to be away from his son when he travels for work. The singer is scheduled to tour the UK in December.

“When I have to travel out of town, I know it's going to be tough. I am spending every minute with my little one right now and it's a great feeling,” he said.

Jubin Nautiyal's private wedding

Jubin married his childhood sweetheart from Uttarakhand in a private ceremony in April. The wedding came as a surprise to his fans, as the singer had kept the relationship away from the public eye.

Pictures from the intimate ceremony later surfaced online. Jubin has largely kept details about his wife private and has not publicly shared much about her personal or professional life.

The couple also did not host a lavish reception following their wedding.

Jubin Nautiyal is known for his romantic and soulful songs in Hindi films and independent music. Over the years, he has lent his voice to several popular tracks, including Tum Hi Aana, Humnava Mere, Lut Gaye and Raataan Lambiyan.
