  • The Netflix cut runs nearly three minutes longer than the theatrical version

The Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set for its global digital release with an extended 'Raw and Undekha' version from May 15, 2026. The international OTT release will include footage that was not part of the theatrical version, offering viewers a slightly different experience from the one seen in cinemas earlier this year.

All about the raw version

The announcement also brings into focus the film’s split streaming rollout. While the extended version will stream internationally on Netflix, the India streaming rights for the film are with JioHotstar. Indian viewers are now waiting to see whether the same ‘Raw and Undekha’ cut will also be made available on that platform.

The Netflix version runs for 3 hours and 52 minutes, making it around three minutes longer than the theatrical cut, which had a runtime of 3 hours, 49 minutes and 6 seconds. The extended edition is being presented as a more ‘raw’ and complete version of the film.

International streaming strategy for Dhurandhar: The Revenge

It has not yet been officially disclosed what the additional footage includes. However, the extended cut is expected to offer a deeper look at the film’s action and dramatic portions. The film will stream in 4K with Dolby 5.1 audio support. At present, there appears to be no support for HDR, Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos.

For those who watched the film in theatres, the extra footage has become a talking point, particularly over whether the added scenes alter the emotional effect of the climax. For international audiences who did not watch the film during its theatrical run, the Netflix premiere on May 15 will be their first chance to watch what is being billed as the film’s most complete version.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge also featured actors Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Danish Pandor and Rakesh Bedi in key roles.

The film had a theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
