Bangladeshi man bumps into woman at Dubai beach for 'comedy' reel, people tag cops

A video showing a Bangladeshi content creator has gone viral where he approached a woman at a Dubai beach and bumped into her on purpose while filming others nearby.

A video of a Bangladeshi content creator filming women in bikinis and deliberately bumping into one of them has gone viral. The man, identified as Emran Hossein, posted the footage on Instagram.

In the video, Emran was seen walking from the beach into the sea while recording women around him. He then moved towards a foreigner who was bathing in the water and purposely inched closer before bumping into her.

The woman immediately moved away after the encounter and appeared uncomfortable. Emran, however, continued recording rather than stopping. The footage does not show him seeking permission from the women before filming them.

His Instagram profile also features several other videos showing women in bikinis on the beach. The clips were recorded from a distance as well as while he was moving around the beach.

The video has gone viral and invited backlash mostly because of the UAE’s rules surrounding privacy and unauthorised photography. Social media users tagged Dubai Police in the comments section as well.

A 2025 court case in Abu Dhabi previously showed the potential consequences of violating another person’s privacy. A man convicted of photographing a woman without her permission was ordered to pay 10,000 Dirhams in a criminal fine.

A civil court subsequently ordered him to pay another 20,000 Dirhams in compensation, taking the total to 30,000 Dirhams, reported Khaleej Times.

No official statement has been issued by the Dubai authorities regarding the incident at the time of publishing this article.
