During the conversation, Yash enquired about Sunil's health, offered words of encouragement and also interacted with members of his family.

According to sources, the call was warm and personal, with Yash spending time checking on Sunil's condition despite being occupied with the shoots of his upcoming films, Toxic and Ramayana.

Sources further claimed that the actor recalled Sunil's long association with his fan clubs and his active involvement in fan activities over the years. Yash is also said to have assured him of support during his treatment.

The gesture has been widely appreciated by fans on social media, with many praising the actor for staying connected with his supporters even amid a packed work schedule.

On the work front, Yash will be next seen in Toxic, which he is also producing alongside Venkat K Narayana under the banners of Monster Mind Creations and KVN Productions. The film was initially scheduled to release on June 4, but was later postponed as the makers focused on expanding its global distribution plans following its showcase at CinemaCon 2026.

The actor is also working on Ramayana, one of the most anticipated films in Indian cinema.
