The upcoming sports drama has earned Rs 9.82 crore in the initial days of advance booking without block bookings, as reported by Sacnilk. With block bookings, the figure stood at Rs 16.66 crore by Wednesday afternoon. Worldwide, the film has collected Rs 35 crore gross in advance sales.

Sacnilk's data shows that the Telugu version is driving the film's pre-release business. Peddi has 4,757 shows in Telugu and 2,785 shows in Hindi. The Tamil version has 557 shows, while the Kannada version has 157 shows. The film will also have 150 shows in Malayalam.

Ram Charan plays the titular role in Peddi – a village favourite who is both a sporting icon and a natural leader. Set against a rural backdrop, the film weaves together cricket, wrestling and sprinting, placing its protagonist at the centre of each arena.

Charan is shown in multiple physical transformations, shifting between a lean cricketer and a heavily built wrestler. His character’s confidence comes through in a striking line: “The game itself is in my arrogance,” hinting at both his skill and his defiance.

The film also features Janhvi Kapoor, Boman Irani, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu in key roles. The film is co-produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru and Ishan Saksena.
