What does the Vimal Khanna trailer show?
The trailer presents Vimal as an ordinary man caught in extraordinary circumstances. As he tries to prove his innocence, he finds himself trapped in a system that appears determined to destroy him.
Every move he makes seems anticipated, while hidden motives and betrayals continue to close in around him. The series builds tension around one central question repeatedly teased in the trailer: “Vimal Khanna bachega ya marega?” (Will Vimal Khanna survive or will he die?)
What did Sunny Hinduja say about the role?
Speaking about the project, Sunny Hinduja described Vimal as a layered and emotionally conflicted character. “Vimal is not a conventional hero; he’s an ordinary man pushed into extraordinary circumstances, where survival becomes instinct,” the actor said.
He added that the character’s struggle to hold on to his identity while adapting to a hostile system made the role particularly compelling.
Why is the series significant?
The show marks the screen adaptation of one of Hindi literature’s most recognised fictional universes created by Surender Mohan Pathak. The author said readers had connected with Vimal Khanna for years because of his constant fight against circumstances that challenge his identity and sense of self.
Vimal Khanna will stream free from May 15, across Amazon MX Player, Prime Video, Fire TV, JioTV and Airtel Xstream.
