Singham Again box office day 2: Ajay Devgn film crosses Rs 100 crore-mark worldwide

Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham Again saw a very slight dip on Day 2, according to early estimates. The film, however, has already crossed the Rs 100-crore mark worldwide.

Ajay Devgn got the biggest opening day number of his career with Rohit Shetty-directed Singham Again. The third part of the Singham franchise sees Devgn return as top cop Bajirao Singham. Thanks to his swagger, the audience was pulled to the theatres during the festive days of Diwali and the film opened to a massive Rs 43.50 crore. However, according to early estimates, the film saw a slight dip in the numbers on Day 2, i.e., Saturday. But, overall, Singham Again continues to roar at the box office.

According to Sacnilk, Singham Again collected Rs 41.50 crore at the domestic box office on Day 2, which is just Rs 2 crore less than its first day collection of Rs 43.50 crore. The total collection of the film stands at a whopping Rs 85 crore. However, the final numbers are yet to be determined.

What's even bigger is the fact that the film has already minted Rs 100 crore worldwide. On November 2, the film had 60.40 percent occupancy, with more people flocking to the theatres for the evening and night shows.

Apart from Ajay Devgn, Singham Again features a stellar cast that includes Kareena Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Dayanand Shetty and Shweta Tiwari, among others. It also has cameos by Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, and Salman Khan.
