Siddharth Anand breaks silence on SRK-Deepika's leaked pics from King's shoot

Filmmaker Siddharth Anand has reacted after photos and videos from the sets of King were leaked online. On Friday, the director shared a statement on social media asking fans not to post or circulate any leaked material from the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer.

The message said the team was working round the clock to deliver the best cinematic experience. It also asked viewers to wait for the film’s surprises to be revealed in the intended way.

The appeal came after pictures from the film’s South African schedule surfaced online. The leaked visuals showed Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone walking hand in hand, seemingly while filming a song sequence. The images spread quickly across social media platforms and prompted a wave of fan reactions.

Fans urged not to share leaked visuals

The statement issued on Friday read, "Request to all the fans. Please do not post or circulate any leaked multimedia from the sets of King. The team is working round the clock to ensure the best cinematic experience for everyone. Let us wait for the surprise on the big screen and for the assets to be revealed as the team of King originally intends to. Thank you for your love, support and cooperation (sic)."

The response came amid growing online attention around the film, which is one of the most-awaited titles headlined by Shah Rukh Khan.

The leaked pictures appeared to be from the ongoing Cape Town schedule of King. It is not clear when exactly they were taken.

In the images, Deepika is seen in a floral-print gown on set. Shah Rukh appears beside her in an unbuttoned printed shirt, with salt-and-pepper hair, while crew members are visible around them.

Fans reacted strongly to the visuals. One described the frame as looking like a Renaissance painting, while others praised the styling, chemistry and screen presence of the pair. Some also said Deepika stood out instantly in the frame, while others praised Shah Rukh’s look and compared it favourably with his appearances in Jawan and Pathaan.
