The makers of The India Story, starring Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade, have released the film's official poster. It offers a glimpse into a hard-hitting courtroom drama centred on the growing issue of food adulteration in India. The film aims to highlight the serious issue of food adulteration and its impact on millions of families across India.

Released on Thursday, the poster features a young girl, who is sick, carried by Shreyas Talpade. Set against the backdrop of the Bombay High Court, the visual also includes a pesticide cylinder placed inside a witness box, hinting at a legal battle that lies at the heart of the story.

It underscores the devastating consequences of food adulteration and suggests that the film will explore the issue through an intense and thought-provoking narrative. By focusing on the dangers hidden in everyday food consumption, The India Story seeks to raise awareness about a reality that often goes unnoticed despite its widespread impact.

Directed by Chettan DK and written and produced by Sagar B Shinde, the film shines a spotlight on one of India's most pressing yet often overlooked public health concerns.

The project is backed by co-producers Swati Vinayak Saindane, Anita Jadhav, Vinayak Saidani, Kalpesh Shah, Devyani Khorate and Prem Joshi. The technical crew includes director of photography Nishant Bhagwat, music composer Mangesh Dhakde, editor Ashish Mhatre, lyricist Shakeel Azami and sound designer Anmol Bhave.

The India Story is scheduled to release in theatres on July 24, 2026. The film will be released worldwide in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil by Zee Studios.
