Raghav Chadha cheers for Parineeti Chopra ahead of Shaque, actor responds

Raghav Chadha has cheered for Parineeti Chopra ahead of the release of her upcoming series Shaque: Trust No One, saying he is proud of the work she has put into the project. Highlighting her effort, the politician said he was looking forward to audiences watching the series when it premieres on Netflix on September 24.

Parineeti responded to his message on Instagram, calling it the sweetest and thanking him for being a supportive and protective husband during that period.

Raghav’s note also referred to time he spent on the shoot in Shimla, where he said he saw the warmth and talent of the team behind the series. Shaque marks Parineeti’s series debut and centres on a mother’s search for her missing child.

On Instagram, Raghav wrote, "So proud of you @parineetichopra. I know how much you gave to Shaque, especially through a time that was already very special for us. Having spent some time at the shoot in Shimla, I also got to see the warmth and talent of the team behind it. An exceptionally talented bunch, and clearly one you had a lot of fun working with (sic)."

He added, "Wishing you and the entire Shaque team all the very best. I have a feeling this one is going to keep people guessing. Can’t wait for everyone to watch it on 24th September (sic)."

Responding to the post, Parineeti commented, "This is the sweetest! Thankss Ragaii. People need to know what a big support and protective husband you were during this time (sic)."

About the series

The trailer, released by Netflix, follows a mother who has spent nine years searching for her missing child. The story is built around questions of trust, with secrets beginning to surface and familiar faces becoming harder to believe as the search deepens.

Parineeti plays the mother at the centre of the mystery, a woman driven by the belief that her child is still out there. The series combines emotional conflict and suspense, as her search pushes her to question the people closest to her and, at times, even her own instincts.

Speaking about the role, Parineeti said, "Shaque is unlike anything I've done before," adding that the series explores "a mother's instinct and her refusal to give up". She also said the story would have viewers piecing together clues and questioning what they think they know.

The cast of Shaque: Trust No One includes Jennifer Winget, Soni Razdan, Anup Soni, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Harleen Sethi, Sumeet Vyas and Dhruv Chowdhary. The series is created by Rensil D'Silva and Siddharth P Malhotra, directed by D'Silva, and produced by Sapna Malhotra and Siddharth P Malhotra.

More about the couple

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have largely kept their relationship away from the constant glare of social media since getting married in September 2023. They welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Neer, in November 2025. While Parineeti continues to be associated with films and entertainment, Raghav has remained active in politics.
