Zomato launches Limitless Delivery, now lets users order from restaurants up to 40km away

Zomato is making it easier to order from your favourite restaurants, even if they are 40km away. The company has introduced Limitless Delivery, which lets users order food from restaurants across their city.

In Short

• The new feature lets users order from restaurants located up to 40km away
• The feature is now available across seven cities including Delhi NCR

Zomato will now let users order food from their favourite restaurants even if they are located far away from their homes. The company has launched Limitless Delivery, a new feature that allows customers to order from restaurants located up to 40km away within their city. The service is currently available in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune and Hyderabad.

Until now, the app mostly showed restaurants based on how close they were to the user's delivery address. Limitless Delivery changes that, letting customers explore and order from popular restaurants across the city, even if they are on the other side of town.

For example, someone living in Gurugram can now order from a favourite restaurant in another part of Delhi NCR, as long as it is available on Zomato. So, if you have been craving food from a restaurant that's too far away, you may no longer have to travel all the way there.

How does Zomato Limitless Delivery work?

Users can access Limitless Delivery in two ways. The first is through a dedicated quick link on the Zomato homepage, under the Explore More section. This link takes users to a list of popular restaurants that are now available through the feature.

Alternatively, customers can simply search for a restaurant directly on Zomato and place an order as they normally would. The company says the feature allows users to discover and order from restaurants located up to 40km away within their city.

According to the company, the idea behind the feature is to give customers more choices when ordering food, especially when their favourite restaurants are located far from home. It could also help popular restaurants reach more customers across the city.

However, Zomato has not clarified whether orders placed through Limitless Delivery will come with additional delivery charges or longer waiting times. So, the actual delivery experience may vary depending on the restaurant and how far away it is.

Zomato Limitless Delivery availability

Limitless Delivery is currently live across seven cities in India: Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune and Hyderabad. Users in these cities can look for the dedicated option on the app's homepage or search for their preferred restaurant directly.
