The JEE Main 2027 exam dates are finally here. The National Testing Agency has announced when engineering aspirants will face the first major entrance test of the year, but there is still one detail students are waiting for: registration.

NTA will conduct JEE Main 2027 Session 1 between January 22 and 30. The exams will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30.

However, the agency has not announced when the application window will open.

JEE MAIN REGISTRATION DATE

There is no confirmed registration date yet, so students should not treat any unofficial date circulating online as final.

The previous cycle offers a useful reference. JEE Main 2026 Session 1 registration opened on October 31, 2025, with the January examination held from January 21 to 28.

This means JEE Main 2027 aspirants should keep an eye on the official NTA announcements rather than wait for a particular date based only on last year's timeline.

Once the window opens, students will be able to complete the application online, including entering personal and academic details, uploading documents, choosing the paper and language, selecting exam cities and paying the applicable fee.

JEE MAIN: SIX EXAM DAYS IN JANUARY

JEE Main is conducted in two sessions, allowing students another opportunity to appear and improve their performance in Session 2. NTA has not yet announced the dates for the April 2027 session.

The examination is conducted in 13 languages.

For now, the key date to remember is January 22, 2027, when Session 1 is scheduled to begin. Students should regularly check the official JEE Main website for the registration announcement and application form.
