Achieving this would bring Dhurandhar 2 nearer to Pushpa 2: The Rule, which has a global collection of Rs 1,742 crore.
Box office momentum
According to trade website Sacnilk, the Ranveer Singh-led film earned a gross of Rs 16.18 crore on Day 24, with net collections reaching Rs 13.50 crore from 8,244 shows across India and overseas.
Since its release on March 19, the film has amassed a worldwide gross of Rs 1,691.30 crore, including Rs 1,279.80 crore from India and Rs 411.50 crore from international markets. Net collections have reached Rs 1,068.92 crore from a total of 414,057 shows so far.
Dhurandhar 2 is scheduled for six more days of uninterrupted theatrical run before Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla begins paid previews on April 16. This will bring the film close to completing a full month in cinemas, a significant milestone for a Bollywood release.
