Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan tease ‘Curry Baker Obsession’ project, know the fun part

Mumbai: Bollywood stars Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan have piqued the interest of fans by teaming up again with director Amar Kaushik for a latest, secret project.

Recently, the three of them posted a social media video that Kriti had called an ‘unexpected reunion’ that will leave their fans ‘obsessed’.

But even after all the noise around the enigmatic post, the cast has not confirmed the project’s name or whether it is a new movie.

The reunion has sparked speculation about a return to the world of Bhediya (2022) the horror-comedy directed by Amar Kaushik.

In the movie, Kriti was cast as Dr Anika, a veterinarian who helps Varun’s character, Bhaskar, understand his changing identity after he is bitten by a wolf.

It was also added to the ever-expanding “supernatural” comedy universe at Maddock Films.

The caption from Kriti that read “OBSESSED” along with the announcement has only deepened the mystery, leading the fans to wonder if the news was of Bhediya 2 or something completely different.

The playful reunion has further raised expectations because of the trio’s successful association with the earlier film.

While the possibility of another collaboration has generated excitement, no official announcement regarding a sequel, production schedule or release date has been made.

For now, the cryptic teaser remains the only clue about the project, and fans will have to wait for further details to discover what Kriti, Varun and Amar have planned next.
