Ram Charan starrer Peddi box office collection gains Rs 16.25 crore on Day 1

Hyderabad: Ram Charan starrer ‘Peddi’ has opened strong on its first day run at the box office.

According to Sacnilk reports, the film ‘Peddi’ has collected Rs 16.25 crore net in India across 5,695 shows nationwide. The gross collection reaches Rs 19.18 crore.

Coming to the language that has earned the most collection at the box office, Telugu stands at the top. It collected Rs 15.43 crore with an occupancy of 60% across 3,463 shows. Next, in Hindi the film has earned Rs 0.64 crore from 1,705 shows and an occupancy of 11%. Kannada and Malayalam have contributed Rs 0.06 crore and Rs 0.03 crore, respectively.

Peddi, Telugu sports drama is directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The cast of the film includes Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu and Shivarajkumar in key roles.

Peddi is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru and co-produced by Ishan Saksena, and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.

During the shooting of the film, Chiranjeevi and ‘Pushpa’ director Sukumar visited the sets of the film. In the visuals, Chiranjeevi and Sukumar could be seen interacting with the ‘Peddi’ team, including actor Ram Charan, who appeared to be in his character’s look. The videos were shared by Ram Charan on his Instagram handle.
